Privacy Policy

Bildrix (“Bildrix,” “we,” “us”) provides software that automates construction takeoffs and cost estimation from blueprint documents. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to app.bildrix.com and related Bildrix services (the “Service”).

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your name, email address, and authentication identifiers. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile (name, email, profile image) per the scopes you approve.
• Project content. Blueprint PDFs and related documents you upload, the images we render from them, and the takeoff data, measurements, and annotations generated or edited within the Service.
• Billing information. Subscription and payment details are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; we retain billing status and identifiers needed to manage your subscription.
• Usage and technical data. Log data such as IP address, browser type, and actions taken in the Service, used for security, debugging, and improving the product.

How we use information

• Provide, operate, and secure the Service and your account.
• Process uploaded documents to detect rooms, dimensions, and generate takeoff estimates.
• Manage subscriptions and billing.
• Communicate with you about your account, security, and Service updates.
• Diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve our features.

Service providers

We share information with vendors that process data on our behalf, only as needed to run the Service: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Google (Gemini AI for document analysis, and Google OAuth if you choose it), Crisp (in-app support chat), and our hosting providers Vercel and Railway. We do not sell your personal information.

Support chat

If you open the in-app chat, we share your account details with Crisp so we can answer you: your name, email address, workspace name and plan, plus the page you were on and an opaque project reference. We do not send your clients' names or addresses, your project names, or your uploaded files. The chat loads only when you open it, and only on signed-in pages — it is never present on the public estimate and invoice links you share with your clients.

Anything you type or attach in the chat is, of course, sent to Crisp as part of the conversation. Please don't paste client details you would rather not share with a third party. Conversation history is retained in Crisp until deleted; contact us at support@bildrix.com to have a conversation removed.

Document processing & AI

To produce takeoffs, the contents of the blueprints you upload are sent to Google's Gemini models for analysis. We use these services to provide the Service's core functionality and do not use your project content to train our own models.

Data retention

We retain your account and project content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete projects within the app, and you may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@bildrix.com.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page.
